Strength for each day.

“Strength for Each Day"
“And as thy days, so shall thy strength be” (Deut. 33:25).
  I. Strength Through Prayer to God
“And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive” (Matt. 21:22).
Many Christians lack strength because they are remiss where their prayer life is concerned.
Prayer is the Christian’s lifeline. Through prayer we communicate and fellowship with God.
The Scripture admonishes, “But in everything by prayer . . . let your requests be made known unto God” (Phil. 4:6).
II. Strength Through the Promises of God
“I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee” (Isa. 41:10).
Some Christians lack strength because they neglect the promises of God.
We should seek out the promises in God’s Word that fit our needs, remember them, recall them often, and claim them as our own.
We have been given “exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:4).
III. Strength Through Performance for God
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Phil. 4:13).
Christians gain strength by doing God’s work. He enables them to accomplish tasks that bless others and glorify.
“Many people fail to do God’s work because they are too involved with their own interests.
Take time for God. He promised “power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength” (Isa. 40:29).
IV. Strength Through Praise to God
“But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more. . . . I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD” (Ps. 71:14, 16).
After saying he would praise the Lord more and more, the psalmist said, “I will go in the strength of the Lord.”
We gain strength by praising the Lord. Praise encourages a positive attitude, and lifts our sagging spirits.
God is worthy of all our praise. We can never praise him enough. The psalmist said, “His praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Ps. 34:1).”
