There is Power in His name

Devotion:"Only One Name"

His name is Jesus and His name is Word.

In the Name Jesus There Is Found—

1. Salvation—

Acts 4: 12.  Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

2. Forgiveness—

1 John 2:12 I write to you, little children, Because your sins are forgiven you for His name's sake.

3. Strength—

Acts 3: 16. And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

4. Eternal Life—

1 John 5: 13.These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, d and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

 5. Sonship—

John 1: 12. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

6. Answered Prayer—

John 14:13-14 

[13] And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. [14] If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

7. Leading—

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.
